Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan is independently funded and operated. The local House is responsible for its own $767,100 budget.

Relationship with McDonald's:

While the McDonald’s corporation is a partner in care, Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan is neither owned nor fully-funded by McDonald’s.  Local McDonald’s owner/operators and their customers support our Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan through donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Outstate Michigan.  In turn, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Outstate Michigan donates a portion of these proceeds to our Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan- equaling about 13% of our annual operating budget.  Several owner/operators serve on our Board of Directors or volunteer in many other ways.

Additionally, McDonald’s supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities Global organization which provides training and support to our House.  McDonald’s vendors, such as Taylor Freezer and Coca-Cola, are also donors to the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan.
