The kitchen of the Ronald McDonald House is the most used space in our 19,000 square foot home. It is around the kitchen table that families share their story, embrace one another, and become each other’s family. It is for that reason that three of our core volunteering programs are centered around this space.
Merry Meal Makers – cook for our guest families. Volunteers may provide meals once or on a regularly scheduled basis, preparing meals in our fully equipped kitchen. They cook dinner any day of the week or brunch on weekends. Click here to find out more about this program.
Crazy Cookie Bakers – bake for our families. Volunteers may provide treats once or on a monthly basis, preparing all treats in our fully equipped kitchen. Treats may be made any morning/early afternoon of the week. Click here to find out more about this progam.
Delightful Dairy Pals – donate perishable food items for our families. Items include milk, bread, butter, eggs, yogurt, and cheese. Diary Pals bring these items on a monthly basis.
All participants of this program must schedule a date with the Guest and Volunteer Services Manager prior to arriving at the Ronald McDonald House. For any questions, please contact Megan Priester, Guest and Volunteer Services Manager at mpriester@wmrmh.org or 616-776-1300.
